Our Trauma and Nervous System Aware Movement Classes have a new format!
Our classes will be running infrequently from the Wonderkind and Co head office (Ariston House) in Newtown.
Classes are designed for both individuals with lived experiences wanting to access trauma and nervous system aware movement and learn why we do what we do, as well as practitioners wanting to learn basic skills in this space.
Classes will combine psycho-education on trauma and the nervous system, an outline of the principles underpinning this trauma-aware movement, as well as practically experiencing of the movements.
You can expect
- Small class sizes
- Choice-based movement
- Invitational language
- Highly trained facilitators
- Neuro-affirming practices
- Psycho-education on trauma and the impact of trauma on the body
- An understanding of the principles of trauma-aware movement and how they're integrated into practice
